2015 Grief Relief Fund

I can’t tell you who I’d be if my dad hadn’t died; his death is such an intricate part of my life. But I can tell you I wouldn’t be who I am today without Comfort Zone Camp.

It takes community support to give every child and teen the experience of realizing they are not alone in their grief, and I want others to have the same tools and support system to cope with their loss.

On Dec. 1, 2002, I lost one of my biggest advocates (and the king of bear hugs). Though he never got to watch me grow up, on July 25, 2003, I gained an entire community of people who have been cheering me on since. Today, my family and I support Comfort Zone Camp through volunteering, financial contributions and advocacy. Thank you for joining us with your gift today.
